Felicity Joyce

I grew up Australia playing competitive touch football and soccer at a state and national level. Through university I moved to running and at 23yrs old became the youngest Female Australian 24hr Track Running champion receiving Athletics Australia’s Rising star award and was an Olympic torch bearer in Sydney 2000 representing the youth of Australia for commitment to sports, education and community.

I studied Exercise Science and Business in Australia. I moved to USA in 2009 and became a permanent resident. I quickly picked up my childhood dream of becoming a triathlete and soon moved up from sprints to Olympic, half Ironman and Ironman distance with several podiums and in 2012 I won my first AG Ironman in Kentucky and that year qualified for the World Championships in both the half Ironman and the prestigious Kona full Ironman distance (childhood dream).

Last year I raced the 6hr World Championship Time Trial and got crowned world champion overall in Borrego Springs setting a new AG World Record coming back from bad bike crash and major concussion. I went on to race two weeks later at Nationals long course Aquabike in Florida where I qualified for the ITU World Championships in Spain on May 4th. It hasn’t been an easy ride being diagnosed with a bone disease 2yrs ago after dealing with 8 major stress fractures including both hips along the way, and many other challenges but my favorite quote is “when nothing is sure, anything is possible” and everyday is a day we don’t get back, so make the most of it!!!

I have been a client of Lone Star Muscle Activation since 2010 after my first crash unable to walk I came back to podiums moths later, Lone Star has been a huge player in helping the impossible become possible and dreams become reality!!! Never questioning big goals or setbacks just helping us move forward each time to the top! I put a lot of my success and comebacks to the genuine care and support + knowledge of Derek & Laura, stoked to have their support behind me as we head to Spain to line up against the best there is in our sport!!!!

Frank Gore

Throw back to 2013 Superbowl!

49ers running back Frank Gore: (on how muscle activation therapy has helped him) “It has helped me a lot. Sometimes, after games, it usually takes me two-to-three days to get the soreness out. I go to Derek. I see him that Monday and he gets my muscles reenergized. I could be feeling real good that Wednesday and ready to go by Friday. I could play the game that Friday. He’s been doing a great job with me. I’m happy that he came in my life at this stage in my career. He helped me a lot.
